I just love this season. The crisp air, the beautiful colors outside and me, lighting candles everywhere I go;-). I also think September and October are good months to reinvent myself and start over. Evaluate a little bit. Even better than a new year almost.
I find myself writing in my journal a lot and looking inward for answers. Fewer sunbeds, less roséwine and more reflection. And I like to make space for that in my life.
I also ask myself the questions why and for who a lot since I want to make sure I set goals for the right reasons. When I´m super clear about the why, the for who and the reasons I feel so much lighter and more enthusiastic about my life and my future.
What about you? Do you feel excited and inspired when you look at your goals or do they cause you to feel pressure, strain, and resistance? Can you change some of the shoulds to wants?
There are times when we might need to do stuff to survive or just to get by, and I think we can allow change to take time. To take small steps every day to live a little closer to our hearts can be just as good as taking a big leap.
Whatever your method is - tiny steps or big leaps, I hope you do the things that make you feel good. Those things that feed your spirit and your mojo the most. And if that´s just kicking leaves and enjoying autumn that too is okay.
